I just watched The Road to El Dorado

Is it just me, or are Miguel and Tulio pretty much Booster and Beetle? Chel can be Babs or someone. Except I like Babs, and Chel's a little annoying. Maybe...crap, who's another of Ted's female romantic interests? How come all I'm coming up with is Babs?

Anyway, a really, really short ficlet inspired by the thing.

Summary: Miguel and Tulio totally want each other.

Ted stared as the credits rolled. "Was it just me, or was Tulio totally gay for Miguel?"

"I'd say it was a pretty mutual thing," Booster said. "Miguel wanted Tulio too."

"Yeah, that Chel girl wasn't right for him at all," Ted said. He turned to Barbara. "Why did you want us to watch this again? It's a dumb kid's movie."

"Because you guys are exactly like Miguel and Tulio," Barbara said.

"Are you kidding?" Ted said. "We're not like that at all!"

"Well, maybe a little," Booster admitted.

"But we're not gay!" Ted said.

Barbara smirked.

"No, really!" Ted said. "I can't believe we're having this conversation again!"

"Right," Barbara said. "Of course not."

"Thank you," Ted said.

"You're just partners."

"Yes exact- hey!" Booster scowled.

"Look," Barbara said. "The Justice League has pretty much begged me to get you guys to sleep together. Apparently the sexual tension is giving J'onn headaches."

"We do not have sexual tension!" Booster said. "Ted's straight!"

"Booster, speak for yourself," Ted said. "I've had...uh...feelings for some guys. Occasionally."

"Well, I'm not straight," Booster said. "I'm from the future! We can bone anyone we want to!"

"Of course," Barbara remarked dryly. "You guys can share Dinah's old room. She hasn't used it since we started sleeping together."

Booster smiled dreamily.

"Oh, great, you had to tell him that," Ted said. "Now he'll be braindead for the rest of the night."

Barbara smirked. "Have fun, Tulio," she said.

Barbara walked away, and Ted glared at her.

Of course, he can't really stay mad at her. Not when Booster had stopped staring dreamily into space and was staring much more alertly at Ted's ass. Not when Booster stepped forward, giving him a questioning look.

After a moment, Ted nodded. Booster grinned, and kissed him.

Ted decided that he'd watch anything Barbara suggested from now on.
