Help me?

So some of you have kids, right? Or are teachers? Or both?

What happens in those parent/teacher meetings? Because I'm writing a fic in which one takes place, and I've realized that, as I've only ever been the kid being discussed, I really have no idea what happens.

The kids are in Kindergarten, if it makes a difference.

Thaaaanks!

Depends on what it's for. If it's just a standard meet up then the teacher will just give the parent a run down of what they do in class/how the kid is doing and answer any questions the parents might have. If it's for a specific problem then that and how to fix it will be the main topic.

I've gotten the impression that the length also depends on how involved the parents are in the sprog's education- my folks always said that teachers were surprised that both of them came and both of them asked questions.
