Jack Sparrow stared at the small boat that was very much not his ship.

“Jack! You said your boat was big!” One of the girls whined.

“This isn’t my boat. My boat.” He looked up and saw it sailing off the horizon. “What’s it doing out there?”

 

On the boat, Elizabeth Turner grinned as she ordered the crew to raise this sail and tie off that one. In her room, locked up safely, was Will’s heart, but she’d be damned if she’d wait around for ten years sitting alone on an island. She’d done too much adventuring to ever go back.

Besides, she was the Pirate King. What kind of Pirate King settled down on land?
