Hmm, regarding the second plot bunny: I think the different possible human donors would depend on several Cadmus scientists being slashers. Yes, really. There's the Superman/Lois fans who were pissed she got engaged to that wussy Kent guy, the ones who think Lex and Superman have a whole lot of UST going on, and the ones who think Superman and Batman have freaky sex in the JLA moonbase. And the Batcave. (Robins may or may not be involved.) So making a Superman/whatever their preference kid would solve the problem and get their favorite ship together!

Kon's thoughts:
Well, being Lois and Clark's kid would be pretty neat, and he thinks this would be the best option. But they didn't ask for it, and he doesn't like asking them for things. Especially when it's really personal like that. It took him a couple weeks to admit to them he was getting married, for crying out loud. Being their kid? That's just way too much. "Hey Dad, can I use the Fortress this weekend?" Or "Hey Mom, can I get some advice on what to get Tana for her birthday?" And Lois's beef bourguignon is fantastic, even if it's the only dish she knows how to make.

Clark and Lex's kid? No, just no. Well, there's the whole "heir to an enormous fortune" thing, but it's Lex Freakin' Luthor. And those "super-genius" genes certainly haven't kicked in yet.

Clark and Batman's kid? (He has a much harder time thinking of Batman as "Bruce Wayne" than he does thinking of Superman as Clark Kent.) Dude, it's Batman. That's just weird. And, well, Gotham City. There's still "heir to a vast fortune" even if it's split with Dick Grayson, who's really cool, so that's not so bad. And there's the Batcave, and the mansion above it. And Alfred! That guy's awesome and British! He never had tea (other than the occasional iced or Long Island [don't tell Superman]) before Alfred introduced him to it, and now he can't get enough. And he'd get to hang around Robin--Tim--more, so that's just bonus on top of bonus. So pretty good option too.
