Lesbian Vampires!
Nov. 5th, 2007 09:11 amI had one of my more vivid and consistent dreams last night. In it, I was the oldest daughter in a family of lesbian vampires.
Yes, even the dad was a lesbian. Don't ask how. Sometimes these things just happen.
It started with us at home, and we couldn't let anyone know that we were lesbian vampires. We were watching a movie, I think, and occasionally hiding.
Then we were at the beach, under an umbrella, wearing lots and lots of sunscreen and long coverings.
Then, my little sister (a lesbian despite her lack of years) accidentally spilled our sexual identities and undeadhood to the entire beach!
Now, I'm not one to allow prejudices to run rampant. I said loudly to the rest of the beach. "Yes, we are lesbian vampires! But that isn't necessarily a bad thing!"
Then we went out to introduce ourselves to the bewildered beach. I think at one point I made a joke to someone who was reluctant to shake my hand about vampirism being contagious through the skin.
All in all, a lovely dream that teaches us about tolerance and love.
