Wet Martian Girl Challenge!

Or you can skip it and just read this part:
Aqua Girl and Miss Martian are also cool because they represent some additional serious girl power. And present opportunities for romance not with each other, of course.
Um, what?
Look, I have never written Aquagirl/Miss Martian. I don't really care about the characters that much. Well, I didn't.
But why "of course?" Why do these characters HAVE to be straight? If she'd left that "not with each other, of course" bit off and the two of them had ended up with men, I wouldn't have been surprised or cared. As it is now? I want them to end up together. I want Teen Titans to join the 21st century and realize oh, hey, there are GAY PEOPLE AROUND. These characters are pretty minor. No one is going to foam at the mouth in rage if they have a romance together. Well, some people might, but I bet they'd get more good press than bad.
And what arguments could they use against it? "Teen Titans is for kids and we don't want to upset parents?" I've seen SPINES ripped out of bodies in that book. Girls kissing is definitely not as gross as that. And Mavel's got gay people in Runaways AND Young Avengers! Agh. I find this stupid.
SO! MY CHALLENGE TO YOU ALL!
Write Lorena/M'gann. Or draw it, I don't care. I want this pairing to become big. Hell, if anyone knows how to contact Felicia Henderson, do it. Maybe I'm getting too annoyed by something little, but I need a project and anyway it's been a while since I challenged anything.
