Professor McGonagall heard mysterious thumpings in the broom closet. She yanked open the door, and two boys tumbled out. One had light blond hair and the other had messy black hair.

“Potter! Malfoy!”

Harry Potter reached for his glasses, looking up at Professor McGonagall nervously.

“Er, Professor, we were just…”

“Shagging in a closet,” Draco Malfoy said.

“Shut up Malfoy,” Harry said.

“Honestly, Potter, it isn’t like there could be any other explan-”

“My office. Both of you. Now. Put on your trousers first, Potter.”

Albus Severus Potter reached for his glasses, looking up at Professor McGonagall nervously.

“Er, Professor, we were just…” Scorpius Malfoy said.

“Shagging in a closet,” Albus said..

“Shut up Al,” Scorpius said.

“Honestly, Scorp, it isn’t like there could be any other explan-”

“My office. Both of you. Now. Put on your trousers first, Potter.”

Professor McGonagall looked at them sternly over her glasses. “If you must snog, I can’t stop you, but doing more than that is forbidden on school property. I hope you were using protection?”

“Of course, Professor!” Scorpius said.

“Detention, tonight. And don’t get caught again.”

They left, whispering nervously. McGonagall allowed herself a smile as soon as they were out of sight. She wondered what they would say if they knew she had caught their dads in exactly the same situation 25 years ago.
