DCU Fandom Search and Find

How to Play:

Step 1: Comment with your name/pen name

Step 2: Another member will reply to your comment with the type of story or art that they’re looking for.

Step 3: You find a fic or piece of fanart that meets the description

Step 4: If you can’t find a fic or piece of fanart that meets the description, you write the fic, or draw the picture.

Step 5: Find another commenter and request they find/write a fic/draw a picture for you.

Example

Rules:

1. If you ask for fanart or a fic, you must post your name to fill a request. It’s only fair.

2. If linking to another author or artist’s work, make sure the entry is public and they allow outside links.

3. Fic written for this challenge must be at least 100 words long.

4. Don’t post the fic you personally write or your art in the comments. Post it to your journal and link to it in the comments.

5. Don’t request a fic or art from a person who is still working on drawing/writing/finding one.

6. If the person you asked to find your story hasn’t found or written or drawn it within a week long period, you may ask another person. If this occurs, please leave a comment under your request saying ‘withdrawn’.

7. You can make multiple requests if you fill multiple requests.

8. You can answer a request with multiple links.

The Power of the Veto:

The requestee has the power of the veto. If someone asks them for something they can’t find and have no desire to write or draw, the requestee can veto the request. If a request is vetoed then the requestor can ask another player to find/write/draw their story.

Helping:

You may help a requestee. If you see a requestee has been asked to find a type of fic or art that you know the location of, you can PM them with the link.
