So I'm pretty sure that in Buffy's world, Sam and Dean would be pretty pathetic. I mean, they shoot everything. Only Riley ever really used guns (and sometimes Xander) but the Buffy vampires were generally not the kind you could just shoot until dead.

On the other hand, I think Buffy would do okay in Supernatural world. I mean, the vampires are different, but she could get used to cutting off heads instead of staking. Her biggest problem would be that she worries about collateral damage and wouldn't be willing to kill the human hosts. Also, she'd encourage Sam to use his demon blood powers. Yes, they're from an evil place, but come on, killing demons here! Though she wouldn't be okay with him drinking up the innocent people who have the demons inside them, so he'd have to stick to Ruby or something.

Speaking of, if Joss Whedon were writing Supernatural, Ruby would definitely be a good guy.

I think Spike with a chip in his brain could hurt both Sam and Dean. He could probably hurt Sam before he died too because of the demon blood. Maybe. I'm not sure if he'd register as human or demon or both to the chip.

Sam and Dean would have trouble buying the whole good vampires thing, especially after Ruby. But if they tried to off Spike or Angel, Buffy would kick their asses. I have no doubt about that. Sorry, boys, you can't beat the Slayer.

Well, that was fun! What should I think about now?

Sam would do very well in the Buffy-verse, I think. Dean...less so. Dean's very angry and inflexible a lot of the time, and I could see him refusing to accept a lot of the reformations that go on.

True, I could see Sam adjusting. Though Sam's gotten less nice in later episodes. He may end up with more of a problem letting evil things live now. Definitely pre-apocalypse Sam would have accepted it. Not, though, he might have more of a problem? I think he could adjust, but I'm not sure he could trust them. But I think you're right he'd be better at adjusting than Dean.

Now, see, I think, given the right circumstances, Sam and Dean would have less issues with reformed vampires than they get credit for. There WAS an episode of SPN ("Bloodlust"; S2) where they defended a group of reformed vamps from Gordon, who just wanted to kill all of them. Ironically, the head reformed vamp was played by Amber Benson.

It's all a matter of adapting to a new set of rules regarding who gets ganked and how and when.

Yeah, I liked that episode... OH MY GOD I DIDN'T NOTICE AT ALL. That's rather awesome. *cough* I love Tara.

But then later they were killing this clueless girl who didn't know she was a vampire. And also that was Season 2. They've both gotten a lot more kill-happy since then. So I think it might all depend? I do think they'd adjust, but I don't think that it'd be easy for them. And I really doubt they'd ever go so far as to trust them.
