"Hey, Arrowette," Cassie said.

Cissie jumped. "Robin, I told you not to sneak up on me!"

"Sorry," Cassie said, not looking apologetic at all. "Habit."

"You enjoy it," Cissie accused.

Cassie shrugged. "Maybe a little. But hey, if I can't use Batman's tricks to pick up girls, what's the point?"

Cissie smiled. "I don't know how you put up with him," she said. "He terrifies me."

"He's okay when you get used to him," Cassie said. "And being Robin is really, really cool. Just wish I could tell Mom about it."

"Trust me, it is not cool having your mother in on your superheroics activities."

Cassie grinned. "Guess not. Still, Argonaut does it, and his dad doesn't mind."

"But Tim isn't as secretive as you. I don't even know your real name and we've been dating for three months!"

"You know I'd tell you if I could."

"Batman?"

"Batman," Cassie confirmed. "That he let me show you guys my real face was a lot."

"Still, 'Alice Draper'? Did he really think any of us would think that's really your name? You don't look anything like an Alice!"

"I know, I know," Cassie said. "Look, I bug him almost constantly to let me tell at least you."

"I guess that'll have to do," Cissie said.

Cassie put an arm around her, letting the cape fall from her shoulder. "If I ever do get the go-ahead to tell people, you'll be the first to know. Promise."

Cissie smiled. "Yeah, I know. I just wish I knew who you really are."

"Cissie, you do know who I really am. My name's hardly going to change that." She kissed Cissie's cheek. "I'm your girlfriend. And that's the important thing."

He needed to be a Greek hero, of course, but Wonder Boy just sounded too gay close to Boy Wonder. And the Wonder people are all girls. So Argonaut it was! Be was granted powers by Zeus, and he's an ally of Wonder Woman.

I actually had a hero named Argonaut in my futureverse that I'm slowly building. He's the son of Steve and Diana Trevor, after Steve was granted eternal youth for his role in the War of the Heavens. Pretty boy, consummate hero, maybe a bit vain and arrogant at times. Once they're all teenagers, he has a massive crush on Kessily Sandsmark, but she's much more interested in Shiela Todd, natch.

I spend way too much time thinking about this. XD

In my crazy future verse, Diana's retired to Themyscira with Etta Candy and Cassie is training a new Wonder Girl who looks alarmingly similar to Steph Brown.
