I'm still in England! It's pretty damn cool. Though I will get my comics later. I mean, they come out a day later here and I'm not going to buy them until I get home anyway. But I'm having a good time anyway. Glad I saw Dark Knight before I left, though! I though I was leaving before it came out originally, and if I had, I'd have had to wait a long time to see it! I don't know if I could have stood that.

I saw Spamalot. It was bloody awesome.

And because I can't resist:

Ask me anything you want about any of my stories: how I thought of the idea, what I did to write it, what I was thinking when I wrote it, what I feel about it now, what I wish I'd done differently, etc. Or ask any of the characters from particular stories something you want to know, and get an answer from them. Or both.

Dude. WTF. How did I miss this? DX

Also, the Bart is a bed story. Where the HELL did that come from? XDDDDD

You're in England? Sweet!

I'm going to see David Tennant in Hamlet!

...and other things. But that's the coolest bit.

You're in England? Lucky!

Which character is your favorite? Which character are you most like?

Yes : )

But...there are so many to choose from!

Let's see. I think Bart might be my favorite. But I'm not that much like him. I'm sometimes a lot like Tim. Or maybe Young Justice Cassie. I'm NOT like Teen Titans Cassie.

I think I'd be a Green Lantern if I were a DCU superhero, though. I'm known for being stubborn and...well, you've read my stuff. I think I've got too much enough imagination.

England, England, England! Why are we all suddenly congregating in the UK this month? Not that I'm complaining or anything, but it is rather funny that a large portion of my flist (including me) decided to mosey across the pond in July. *g*

Also: Lucky!! I've been stuck here without being able to get my Batman fix, resolutely ignoring at least half of everyone else's posts for fear of spoilers! I have to wait another two days for it to come out. An interminable length of time for someone like me, lemme assure you. The giant posters on the sides of the double-deckers really doesn't help.

Have you done any fun touristy things yet? I did London the other day, and I have to admit that I have rarely been as tired after a single day as I was then. I guess I'm just not built for walking around all day. *sheepish* :)

(This is me forgetting about the meme part)

Bernard, I know you are happily involved with other people quite often, but how on earth do you resist Tim's sexay bod? *is incredulous*

Mostly by him being unavailable. To imaginary girlfriends or occasionally boyfriends.

The UK is awesome! I'm here to see David Tennant in Hamlet, mostly. Though we're also doing all sorts of fun stuff.

THERE ARE SO MANY BATMAN POSTERS AND SUCH! And the animated ones in the underground stations? They're always in the same place! And I totally want to see it again.

We've been in London the past two days...everything's so expensive! We haven't gone to every touristy location. I refuse to be a tourist. We're right near Buckingham Palace, though. And we walked through the National Gallery. That was fun!

Mostly we hang out in St. James' Park. I like that place!

It was especially fun when we didn't sleep at all on the plane then immediately jumped into things. Over 24 hours without sleep! CAN YOU SAY PARTY?

TOO MANY POSTERS!! I'm having movie-envy. It really doesn't help that I take the tube everywhere I go. *pouts*

I hate being a tourist, too, but my mum was all "Let's spend a fortune going through all the tourist things in London!" and then whisked us off. I'm afraid I was too sleep-deprived to protest as much as I should have, and there you have it. Dead on my feet, I tell you. But the pub crawls in London are always fun. :) Even though it's SO EXPENSIVE! I always think it looks pretty good until I double the price and then gasp. *gasp*

I hear ya. I can never sleep on planes, and for some reason, I always get the over-night-ers, which means that I arrive just in time for everyone to decide that we're going to go SEE things when I can barely see my hand in front of my face. :/

Oh well. :D

I take the tube everywhere too! It's fun. I don't know how I've not gotten lost. And same, I always forget to double the bloody price. Why are our dollars so weak?

I can sometimes sleep on planes. But not when my mother is like OKAY SLEEP RIGHT NOW SO WE CAN DO STUFF AND NOT BE JETLAGGED OKAY 1 2 3 SLEEP! GO GO GO! And I'm like...well, now I can't sleep.

A question for Wally in Camping Shouldn't be this Hard:

Wally,

What the bloody hell is your problem?

Date: 2008-07-23 08:39 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] museofspeed.livejournal.com
What? My problem? It's those stupid kids who have a problem! Look, I know that the whole gay thing is...I don't know, not as frowned on in some places as I'm used to, but I mean, Bart's family! Why is he gay?

Not that I won't try to support him.

(Linda would kill me if I didn't.)

Jaime... will you and the scarab ever find your gold? or will you be content with each other- and some Tracy 13?

Maybe Traci could get a gold colored costume! I suggested it and she laughed. I don't know. There aren't enough gold colored heroes around.

Your getting to see Tennant in Hamlet? I am so jealous!! Hope the rest of your trip is fun.

So what drew you to Tim/Bart and/or Tim/Bernard in the first place?

XD I'm so excited. It should be awesome. My mom's excited too, and she doesn't even watch Doctor Who!

Little known fact: I was originally a Tim/Kon shipper. But someone had already claimed Tim/Kon for [livejournal.com profile] fanfic100. So I went with Bart/Tim. I'd already written Private Party (http://shananagin.livejournal.com/32125.html), so I knew I could do it. Then I fell in love with the pairing.

Tim/Bernard was mostly me reading the issues of Robin with Bernard in it, me reading every fanfiction I could find with Bernard in it, and ultimately me deciding there needed to be more bloody Bernard/Tim. So I started writing it!
