PLOT BUNNIES FOR ADOPTION!
Stuff I'd write if I had time.
1. Bart never became the Flash. He and Inertia were both kidnapped by Inertia from the Titans of Tomorrow arc, who for some reason didn't vanish. Or maybe it's an alternate universe Inertia or something. Doesn't matter. Point is, alt!Inertia takes Bart's place like Inertia always was supposed to, becomes the Flash, etcetera, but real!Inertia escapes and kills him. Now he's taking heat for killing the Flash, even though he knows the Flash isn't really Bart, so he has to deal with angry heroes, angry rogues, and trying to find a way to free Bart. I'd write this, but a) no time, and b) there are people who'd handle Inertia much better than I would.
2. Kon is getting married. Possibly to Tana, but that part is only kind of important. He wants both his genetic doners at the wedding, though. Clark'll be there, but there are three possible people who could have been the human doner. I was thinking Lois, Lex, and Paul Westfield (the original human doner before they retconned it as being Lex.) Or maybe Bruce, I don't know. They go through wacky hijinks. Yes, I came through this while watching Mama Mia. What? I had to entertain myself somehow!
Also, people, claim stuff for the DC/Marvel ficathon! it'll be really cool! And there are so many unclaimed prompts! Come on, you know you want to write about Wade Wilson annoying the hell out of Slade Wilson!

Date: 2008-08-21 04:37 am (UTC)Kon's thoughts:
Well, being Lois and Clark's kid would be pretty neat, and he thinks this would be the best option. But they didn't ask for it, and he doesn't like asking them for things. Especially when it's really personal like that. It took him a couple weeks to admit to them he was getting married, for crying out loud. Being their kid? That's just way too much. "Hey Dad, can I use the Fortress this weekend?" Or "Hey Mom, can I get some advice on what to get Tana for her birthday?" And Lois's beef bourguignon is fantastic, even if it's the only dish she knows how to make.
Clark and Lex's kid? No, just no. Well, there's the whole "heir to an enormous fortune" thing, but it's Lex Freakin' Luthor. And those "super-genius" genes certainly haven't kicked in yet.
Clark and Batman's kid? (He has a much harder time thinking of Batman as "Bruce Wayne" than he does thinking of Superman as Clark Kent.) Dude, it's Batman. That's just weird. And, well, Gotham City. There's still "heir to a vast fortune" even if it's split with Dick Grayson, who's really cool, so that's not so bad. And there's the Batcave, and the mansion above it. And Alfred! That guy's awesome and British! He never had tea (other than the occasional iced or Long Island [don't tell Superman]) before Alfred introduced him to it, and now he can't get enough. And he'd get to hang around Robin--Tim--more, so that's just bonus on top of bonus. So pretty good option too.
