I was writing an essay on the Bible for FYSem. One of the possible assignments I tried was writing it in the voice of Rabbi Hillel.

XD I would, except the other question is much easier. I talked to my teacher after the Draft of Suckiness and she said the problem is that unlike the other people in my class, I actually know quite a bit about Rabbi Hillel.

And Uncle Iroh, but she didn't say that.

So instead I get to rant about how stupid it is caring about the line that talks about lying with a man while not lying with another man when there are so many lines within the same chapter that people completely ignore. It's fun!

(Also, I wrote a ballad about lesbian superheroes. Sometimes it's really cool being me.)

That's my favorite Bible argument! "It says you can sell your daughter as a slave. Would you do that?" "Hell no!" "Well then! Why listen to the other bits? No shellfish? No cotton/polyester blends?" Pbft. The Bible has some pretty cool stuff, but a lot of completely inapplicable stuff too.

XD It's a fun essay. OF course, it's due in three hours and I've got class in an hour and fifteen minutes, but it wouldn't be nearly as fun if I did it before the last minute!

I'm a fast writer, but I'm not allowed to add a passage about how homosexuality is right because Bernard wants to bone Tim. Even though I think that's a good argument.

That is probably one of the most convincing arguments I've ever heard for homosexuality. *giggles* An excellent argument! I approve.

That's too bad, I think it would be fun, if exhausting to write about. Most of my arguments would have to be discarded because, like yours, Bernard wanting to bone Tim or Roy wanting to bone Dick (and Tim!) isn't really a convincing argument... TO EVERYONE ELSE!
